Une part d’ombre

Une part d’ombre, the first volume of the trilogy “The Deconstruction of the World”* is a feminine, implacable and generous novel, which tells the reverse itinerary of two beings, between 1980 and 1990, years of major upheavals. Alba, young teenager, permeable to the roughness of the world, gradually moves from outrage suffered to autonomy, and Alex, ten years her senior, gets lost in the maze of incompleteness.

The author explores the efforts of each and everyone to forge an identity, fragile or luminous, with in the background the rumors and upheavals of a war here, a revolution there, a natural disaster elsewhere.
She walks along the edge of abysses, dead ends, the brilliances of her characters, in an attempt to repair, opening up to everyone the possibility of recognizing themselves as a link in the history of the world.
She explores all the resources of fiction intertwined in the fabric of real facts. Along the journey of the characters invited into her story, the reader understands that, in this dizzying exposure, it is about her or him.
